What we collect
- Membership data — name, email, phone (optional), mailing address, professional background you provide at application.
- Course progress — lesson completions, quiz scores, capstone submissions, CE credit log.
- Payment data — handled by Stripe. We never see your card number. We retain payment status, amount, and purpose.
- Directory listing — the public fields you publish on your CIAC profile (bio, headshot, website, service areas, specialties). These are intentionally public.
- Server logs — IP, user-agent, referrer. Retained for up to 90 days.
How we use it
- To run the association — membership, credentialing, CE tracking, directory publishing.
- To send transactional and member-communications email.
- To comply with our obligations under tax and business law.
- To investigate reported ethics complaints about a CIAC.
What we do not do
- We do not sell your personal data.
- We do not serve third-party advertising.
- We do not share member contact information with marketers or training-program competitors.
Data shared with ADAConsultant.com
Your public CIAC profile fields (name, slug, bio, specialties, service areas, headshot, credential status) are displayed on ADAConsultant.com — that is the point of the membership. Your private data (payment history, course progress, CE log) is not shared.
Your rights
Email ada@adaconsultant.com for access, correction, or deletion. CCPA and GDPR residents have additional rights — same contact address. We respond within 30 days.
